Proof, from work we own
We do not publish client work without written permission, so this page shows systems we built for businesses we own and operate. Each piece is written the same way: the situation, what was built, and what changed. Outcomes are described without client data, and we do not publish numbers we cannot stand behind.
1. Columbus rental portfolio
Situation
A short-term and mid-term rental portfolio in Columbus, operated as Columbus Urban Retreats. Guest questions arrive at all hours across booking platforms. Pricing needs regular review as dates fill or sit open. The property owner needs a clear monthly statement of what happened.
What was built
Automation around the work the operators were doing by hand: guest messaging that answers common questions and routes the rest to a person, pricing support that reviews open dates and flags gaps, cleaning and check-in coordination, and owner reporting that pulls the month together into one packet.
What changed
Guest messages get a fast first response at any hour, with a person stepping in where the answer is not approved in advance. Pricing is reviewed on a rhythm instead of when someone remembers. Owner reporting is assembled from the operating systems rather than rebuilt by hand each month. This is the same pattern we sell to service businesses: answer fast, capture the details, hand off with a summary.
2. Baked Well, a certified organic food business
Situation
Baked Well is a certified organic bakery business we co-own. It sells through its own website and other channels, works with ingredient suppliers, and has to keep product, pricing, and certification records straight across all of them.
What was built
Systems for the parts of the business that repeat: online ordering and product presentation on the website, price and listing upkeep across sales channels, ingredient order review, and organised records for the organic certification the business holds.
What changed
Product and price changes are made once and checked across channels, instead of edited channel by channel from memory. Ordering and certification paperwork lives in a known place and can be found when a supplier, a certifier, or a customer asks. The work is a food business, not a tech demo, which keeps the systems honest: they have to hold up on a baking day.
3. DataTech's own intake
Situation
Our own enquiries used to depend on a free-form message. A buyer had to guess what to tell us, and we had to ask follow-up questions before we could say whether a fixed-scope build fit.
What was built
This website is the working example of our Lead Intake offer. The contact form asks for the company, the offer of interest, and where work is being missed, then turns the answers into a structured email summary, the same shape we deliver to a client's team. The offers themselves are stated with scope and price, so an enquiry starts from a shared understanding instead of a blank page.
What changed
An enquiry now arrives with the context a fit call needs. We can read it, judge the fit, and reply with a next step instead of a list of basic questions. If you want to see it work, send the form on the contact page.
Note on this page: these are our own businesses, described in our own words, with no client data and no results we cannot verify. Client case studies will be added only when a client agrees in writing to the exact form published.
